Introductory flights are conducted from the airport at Hope and are intended to introduce anyone interested in the sport of soaring to the joys of un-powered flight. For further information download our club Brochure.
The costs of an Introductory Flight is $150.00 for 20 to 30 minutes of gliding, This price includes tow fees and and daily membership of the club.
Flights exceeding the specified time are charged extra at the flying member pay-as-you-go rate.
$535 for 5 Instructional Flights (20 to 30 minutes each), includes 5 tows, 2 daily memberships and a student log book. A credit of $70 will be granted towards subsequent purchase of Flying Membership in the same year.

Half yearly dues are available to new members only; renewals are at full rate. Air Cadet Members under 18 years old do not pay SAC dues.

One-off payment of current Flying Member dues (VSA) x 12 = $7200. Annually SAC plus BCSS fees are due.
First 1000 feet $ 29.50 Each additional 100 feet $ 1.20 Retrieves, ferrying & personal flying $170.00/hour
There are 3 payment options:
Flat Rate Plan $862 for unlimited flying for the season. 12 Hour Plan $612 for up to 12 hours flying during the season. Additional hours are charged at $25/hour. Pay as you go $95/hour or $1.58/minute
